Utopia Salon & Spa opened November 17, 1993 as the first exclusive AVEDA Concept Salon in Thunder Bay and one of the first in Canada.  

Two experienced stylists with one vision of a small salon that cared about the needs of each individual client.  Today the AVEDA(tm) lifestyle concept has become the future of hair and total body care.  Utopia Hair Design now offers you a complete team of experienced stylists, estheticians and massage therapists.

We encourage each stylist to actively participate in the growth of the salon through ongoing personal training, product knowledge and skills upgrading.

Utopia Salon & Spa actively participates in many annual community and charitable events such as Earth Day (all earth day proceeds are donated), the Canadian Cancer Society billboard rescue, Cystic Fibrosis Foundation, Children Aid Society and others.
